In Road To Winning with Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi
Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi is a Real Estate Mogul and the Lagos State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Action Democratic Party for 2019. He is also a Real Estate Developer & Urban Development Expert. He is the Chairman/CEO of Redbrick Homes International Ltd, developers of Amen Estate..
Below is a summary of the interview In Road To Winning with Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi
Babatunde is a Politician vying for the post of Lagos state governor and his manifesto pushes prosperity for all because many candidates have been elected into government after making numerous promises and failing to fulfill them. He believes his manifesto will definitely be fulfilled as he knows what the people want. When asked how he battled godfatherism and corruption in Lagos, he says that the fact that he was not appointed or endorsed for the post by higher powers does not mean he couldn’t still run for the position. He added that his manifesto first targets civil servants who actually put in the work and are severely underpaid due to a system adopted from the British. The goal here is to afford comfortable living wages for civil servants.
He says the difference between him and other political candidates is that he has clear plans and it involves giving Lagos basic amenities and building its economy. He also seeks to eradicate poverty in the state and create prosperity for its citizens.
A caller asked about policies and how to educate masses on their rights to vote and not accept bribes, Babatunde answered saying they are doing their best to reach grassroots structures across the state and different local governments. He pleads with citizens to help themselves, we should educate ourselves because selling your vote will amount to getting absolutely nothing when divided over the four-year tenure of the candidate. He says his position in Lagos cannot prosper unless Lagosians are prospering.
Babatunde mentions that he is into real estate and for over 8years, there has been constant light in the area as they generate their own electricity, he says he would bring in that system when he is elected into government to generate constant electricity for Lagos
He urges us to wake up and smell the coffee by making the right decisions. Many government officials have sent their children abroad so they do not experience what others are within the country. We have to be wise and take actions into our own hands.
Babatunde concludes that he believes Lagos would vote him in because they want to do well and this prosperity is not so far anymore.
